Minco Jordanov was appointed Director of Mines, Iron and Steelworks Skopje In 1983. During the period of 1989 to 1992, he was the Director of Tehnometal in the representative office in Moscow, Russia. In 1992, he was engaged in Duferco SA from Lugano, a company working in the steel sector. By 1994, he became a member of the Board of Directors of this company, and was responsible for the countries of the former Soviet Union. Duferco Group became the main partner and major shareholder in Makstil AD Skopje, a company established in 1997 upon privatization and reconstruction of the former Mines, Iron and Steelworks Skopje, where Mr. Jordanov currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Jordanov also served as Vice President of the Macedonian Government and as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy, and serves on the Board of Macedonia 2025.
