Mr. Radmil Polenakovik, PhD, is a regular professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje, with classes on: entrepreneurship and small business, human resources management, business logistics, innovation management (for post-graduate and PhD studies) and others.
He has published over 190 papers, reports, books, etc. Professor Polenakovik has been the team leader for GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) research for the Republic of Macedonia since 2008, and he is also a member of the European Academy of Science and Arts, evaluator of FP7 projects, projects of the European Committee – Enterprises and Industry Directorate, South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme and others.
He is a guest-speaker at the UNESCO Department of Entrepreneurship at the University in Novi Sad, Serbia. He has run and participated in over 20 projects supported by: the European Committee, OECD, World Bank, ETF, ADA, USAID, GTZ, CEI, SEECEL, ZSI, SEE-JTC, ASO, Embassy of Norway and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in the Republic of Macedonia, the Ministry of education and science, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia, etc. He is the founder and President of the National Centre for Development of Innovations and Entrepreneurship Learning (www.ncdiel.mk).
Since 2006, he has been running the Centre for Development of New Businesses at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje (www.bsc.ukim.edu.mk), that has supported the creation of about 50 start-up businesses.
