about

In times of growing expectations for transparency, accountability, and responsible governance, business integrity becomes a key factor for economic growth, attracting investment, and building trust in institutions. It is not merely a matter of legal compliance, but of establishing a culture of ethical conduct, responsibility, and respect for the public interest.

Corruption represents one of the most serious challenges to the development of society and the economy. Its consequences are far-reaching – from financial losses, through the deterioration of institutional quality, to the reduction of competitiveness and citizens’ trust. Preventing corruption requires a systemic approach and active involvement of all social actors.

Business integrity is the antidote in the fight against corruption – the only path toward building a fair, predictable, and sustainable society.

These topics will be at the centre of the conference “Strengthening Business Integrity Through Public–Private Cooperation”, organized by M6 Educational Centre, the French Anticorruption Fund and the French Embassy in North Macedonia to be held on June 25, 2026, in Skopje. The event aims to send a strong message: integrity is not a choice, but a prerequisite for a competitive economy and sustainable social progress.

Companies that establish clear standards of business ethics, compliance mechanisms, and policies to prevent corruption risks contribute to creating a secure and stable business environment. At the same time, transparent and accountable institutions create conditions for development based on knowledge, innovation, and fair competition.

In line with its mission to positively transform individuals, organizations, and society, M6 Educational Centre continuously supports initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership, good governance, and business integrity.

Through the platform “Step Forward”, M6 reaffirms its commitment to creating space for open dialogue, exchange of experiences, and advancement of partnership cooperation among the public sector, business community, civil society organizations, media, and academia.

We believe that sustainable change is possible only through joint action and the building of a culture of trust, transparency, and responsibility, which form the foundation for long-term social and economic development.

Building a culture of integrity is not a one-time process, but a long-term commitment.

It implies transparent decision-making, clear rules of the game, consistent application of ethical standards, and zero tolerance for abuse. Only in this way can trust become capital, and integrity the driving force of development.

Business integrity is not just good practice – it is a prerequisite for a competitive economy, resilient institutions, and sustainable social progress.
