Welcome to the one day workshop ‘Developing New Products as a Growth Strategy: A Customer-Centric Approach.’ This workshop aims to familiarize participants with the processes and practices used in product and services development, enhancing their decision-making skills. Upon completion, participants will be able to apply the new product development process, integrate customers into the process, and implement various testing tools for evaluating product concepts.
During the workshop, key questions will be addressed such as why products fail or succeed and how to estimate product demand before production. Additionally, the workshop will cover topics such as generating product ideas, setting development strategies, understanding customer needs, and implementing integrated communication for product launches.
Aim and Learning Outcomes:
Aim: to familiarize participants with the processes and practices used in product & services development and enhance their decision-making skills.
On successful completion, participants will be able to:
- Apply the process of new product development.
- Learn how to integrate the customers into the process of NPD.

Meet the trainer
Dr. Dimitrios V. Nikolaidis is the CEO at Embryolab since 2017, a leading Fertility Clinic in Europe and an Associate Professor at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus.
He is also a visiting professor at TIAS Business School Tilburg University in the Netherlands and in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Nikolaidis holds his Doctorate and Master’s degrees from Temple University, USA.
He has publicized a number of articles in national and international journals and provided training in various companies.
